Roof

Roofs are difficult to build!  The prototypes had compound curves and the usual solution is to cast the ends.

Phil worked up something a bit more prototypical using some scraps of poplar plywood.

To the right, you can see it sans skin.

Different types of “skin” were attempted - in the end, it seemed as if the best fit was to use 1/32“ plywood cut with a .010” gap.

It lays down well and provides the right shaped as well as strength.

It will be covered with something - we’re just not sure what!
